| Yes, you can
meet us near the
garage. We can meet at the Certosa Exit off the A1
highway. There is a roundabout there. This is also where the
Firenze-Siena highway ("superstrada") starts. I am easy to spot
because I drive a large red nine-passenger van.
There isn't parking along the roundabout.
However, it is possible to safely pull over on one side. I can
meet you there at 10:15 am. You can then just follow me in your
car to my garage. |

Can I park my car at the
pickup place?

pickup place. If you have your own car we suggest that you follow the
van to our garage and park there. It is a 25 minute drive (9 miles/15
km).
Can you
come pick us up at our hotel or rental villa?
We can't pick you up where you are staying. You will need to
walk down to the Ponte Vespucci bridge (10-minute walk from the train
station).
Can I pay with a
credit card?
We cannot accept credit cards. We can only accept cash.
Is there a student discount?
We have decided to keep the same low price
for everyone.

discount?
We are sorry, but we do not offer a children's discount.
If I drive myself
can I have a discount?
We cannot offer you a discount if you drive yourself to our garage.
If I bring my own
bike can I have a discount?
We cannot offer a discount if you bring
your own bike.
How difficult
is the ride?
The ride is 12 miles (20 kilometers) long. The bicycles all have
21 speeds with extra low gears for hill climbing. There is a
gradual two-kilometer hill after lunch which can always be walked if you
prefer. You can ride at your own
pace. We stop frequently for breaks and photographs. The
tour is not an athletic event and you do not have to be an athlete to complete the
ride.

What if
it rains?
If it is overcast at 10:00 am we run the
tour. If it is raining at 10:00 am we don't run the tour. If
it starts raining hard during the tour we stop cycling. If we are
able to do the winery visit, wine tasting, and lunch we charge the full
70 Euro price. If we are not able to complete those activities we
discount the tour price.
What should I wear?
You don't need any particular gear for
our ride. We will provide helmets for your safety. We encourage
you to wear running shoes or tennis shoes rather than open sandals. On
cooler days bring a sweatshirt or light jacket. Extra clothes can
always be left in the van. We suggest you use sunscreen on
